Today, I am waiting for the final 32% of a video to upload to YouTube. It’s a video I made of the family holiday we went on in October. I wanted to get it uploaded today, because tomorrow is Monday, and it’s nice to start Monday on a clean slate, right?

The problem is that the video turned out to a 10GB file, and it’s taking ages to upload to YouTube. I started the upload an hour ago, and it’s still got 19 minutes remaining, apparently.

So, I’m just gonna sit here watching Brooklyn 99 on Netflix and wait it out. It’s gone up 6% in the time it’s taken me to write these first 113 words anyway.

So, I’m uploading the video straight from an external hard drive, and I just accidentally unplugged the external hard drive. I’m worried that I’ve just cancelled the upload, and that it’s gonna have to start over again. The percentage thing has been stuck on 85 for a few minutes now. I think I’ve broken it.

Never mind… it moved to 86. We’re good.

Phew.

There’s an estimated 7 minutes left on the upload, and there’s 6 minutes 55 seconds left on the episode of Brooklyn 99 I’m watching. Suddenly, everything is coming together.

99%. Yay. There’s a fun parity there with Brooklyn 99. You see? No? Leave me alone, it’s getting late and I’m tired.

Oh yeah. I forgot that after ‘uploading’ reaches 100% you have to wait for ‘processing’ to reach 100%. That’s annoying.

Hey look, it’s ready! It only took four months to make, plus like the last hour and a half of staring at the screen waiting for it to upload, but after all of that, here it is.

Our Family holiday in the Forest of Dean:

Until tomorrow, I can sleep now.
