September 18th 2017
Today I packed the suitcase for holiday. Well actually, Alice had already packed the clothes and the suitcase by the time I got home. I just had to pack the gadget backpack. Of course, in 2017, it’s impossible to go on holiday without a gadget backpack.
You need your phones, and your phone chargers, and your portable phone chargers. And your camera, and your camera charger, and your portable camera chargers. And your Kindle and your– you get the point.
I have, however, packed three paperback books, and I intend to finish all three by the end of the week. That’s one every two days. That sounds doable.
Alice kept shouting at me because I wanted to keep packing tshirts, but she’s probably got a point when she says that I don’t need 14 tshirts for a 7 night holiday.
I’ve also somehow got 6 pairs of shorts packed. That’s enough, right?
I’m excited. I haven’t been abroad since March. And I haven’t been on an all inclusive holiday since I was, like, eight. Alice keeps having to reassure me that, yes, I can eat as much as I want as often as I want. And yes, I can drink as much as I want as often as I want (until midnight, at least).
Until tomorrow, this is gonna be a great week.
