January 5th 2015
Today was better than yesterday. I travelled back to Uni from my hometown early in the morning, I wanted to be back reasonably early to get a full day of revision done in the library, and that’s what I did.
I’m coming round to the idea that it really is just another two weeks of full on revision and then it’s over for a few months. Two weeks is not a long time. I’ve been on holidays that lasted longer than two weeks. I’ve had relationships that lasted less than two weeks. Two weeks isn’t a long time.
Mathematically it’s 1/26th of a year, 1/2080th of a lifetime (hopefully) and if I have a pretty shit two weeks, then with any luck it will make the other 2079/2080th of my lifetime a bit better. That’s what I’m telling myself at least.
So it’s an early night for an early start. Back in the library by 11, is the plan. I find it a lot easier to revise if there is a schedule. I like to know where I will be, and what I will be doing and at what time. Although it is very easy for 11am to turn into 11:15, and then that’s 11:30 which is pretty much 12 and hey, look, it’s lunch time!
I’m not yet allowing myself to get panicked over the fact that I don’t have enough days between now and the exams to do everything I need to, it’s something I will have to accept because nothing can be done about it. I cannot, unfortunately, create more hours in a day or days in a week.
Until tomorrow, I will have to just manage the time I do have wisely.
